As the Marketing Manager, you will be the ‘go-to’ marketing expert for our city success, policy and PR teams and the glue between them and our central commercial team. In this role, you are responsible for planning, coordinating and executing commercially driven campaigns and projects across the region. You will be the spider in the web, building the brand and local presence in the DACH region.
Job Responsibility:
Owning all consumer-facing touchpoints in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and being the guardian of our brand and tone-of-voice in all our channels (app, app stores, print, multi-channel campaigns and at events)
Knowing our industry, customers and prospects inside-out and identifying business potentials for efficient customer acquisition and upsell opportunities
Owning, driving and executing on localization of global campaign efforts, ensuring we create a hyperlocal touch on all our efforts
Driving local partnership efforts and negotiations
Proactively define campaign metrics and reports to be able to help forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness
Follow a test-and-learn approach, documenting and monitoring your marketing activities and analyzing the results in post mortems in order to optimize every aspect of our marketing activities
Owning local budgets and being on top of all costs and invoices to make sure we invest wisely
Working cross-functionally with other teams to facilitate effective communication between international teams
Taking an active role in selecting and onboarding interns/working students and acting as mentors for their professional and personal development
Requirements:
4+ years experience of Marketing
Good analytical skills, preferably experience in Metabase
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Confidence in creative, design and copy decisions and is able to execute hands-on if necessary
Ability to seek out learning opportunities for yourself and the team
A self-starter mindset that radiates positivity and demonstrates a “can-do” attitude
