The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing a growth-focused marketing strategy that attracts in-bound qualified leads and directly supports the new business team in achieving Candyspace's revenue targets. Their focus will be managing and optimising Candyspace website and social channels content, online and in-person events and targeted campaigns that position Candyspace as a thought leader in its core markets. Working as a key member of the Candyspace Growth team, the Marketing Manager will work alongside Growth Managers and Head of Growth. The role requires a strategic thinker, with excellent communication and project management skills to brief and manage external partners and contractors. They will also act as the main point of contact between Candyspace and Quantiphi's Shared Marketing Services (SMS) team, across analytics, SEO, PPC, design and creative workstreams. Strong analytical skills are essential. The Marketing Manager will produce regular monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports to help demonstrate the commercial impact of our marketing activity on leads, sales, pipeline, revenue and growth targets.
Job Responsibility
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Candyspace's overall business goals
Define key prospective client journeys and the appropriate marketing mix to attract, engage and convert prospects into marketing qualified leads
Collaborating with Candyspace department heads and cross-functional teams to ensure that content and events are delivered on time and in line with our marketing goals
Conduct regular market research to identify target prospects, technology trends and emerging opportunities
Use insight to inform website content, campaign planning, thought leadership content and messaging across all channels
Working in close collaboration with the Growth Managers to define, plan and run lead generation paid marketing activity (e.g. LinkedIn, PPC) - including account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting priority ICP accounts
Report on the performance of campaigns and proactively optimise these
Working with our Experience Director, to manage and maintain Candyspace's brand identity and tone of voice messaging across all marketing channels
Ensuring website content and marketing content is consistent and aligned with these values and positioning
Develop and execute a content strategy that attracts and engages target audiences across the full customer journey -from awareness through to consideration and conversion
Brief and edit thought leadership content produced by Candyspace's technical specialists, to create compelling articles, guides, case studies, whitepapers and social content
Lead digital marketing strategy, implementation and reporting across paid search, SEO/AEO, organic social, email and content channels
Monitor performance metrics across all channels and tracking marketing spend back to pipeline value and revenue impact
Manage and optimise the Candyspace website (HubSpot CMS), ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, aligned with the brand's identity and optimised to deliver inbound leads
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and optimising key landing pages for core technology platforms and sectors, ensuring agency case studies and sector expertise are showcased effectively, maintaining fresh and relevant content across the site including thought leadership articles, implementing capture mechanisms such as contact forms and content downloads, and ensuring website tracking is correctly configured with the right KPIs and data is accurate and reliable
Manage all external communications including press releases, award entries and directory listings
Own and manage all organic Growth team related social media strategy and activity (primarily LinkedIn), ensuring content and imagery is consistent with the brand voice and reflects the expertise and people of the agency
Define, plan and organise regular marketing events including training webinars, roundtables and in-person partner events - both independently and in collaboration with technology partners such as Optimizely and Contentful
Budget management, invoicing, resource allocation and project management
Setting up accurate campaign tracking across HubSpot and GA4, ensuring data integrity and correct attribution across all channels
Analysing data from GA4, HubSpot and other available sources to identify trends, measure ROI and optimise marketing strategies
Work with the Candyspace analytics team to build and maintain marketing reporting and lead engagement dashboards using Data Studio and BigQuery
Prepare regular monthly performance reports for the Head of Growth and senior leadership team, and support the production of quarterly marketing reports for Quantiphi

Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing and content strategies aligned with business goals
Analytical skills: Hands-on SEO experience and analytical know-how and capability, specifically GA4, GTM and HubSpot reporting. Ability to build dashboards, interpret full-funnel data and present pipeline performance to senior stakeholders

Marketing automation: Confident experience in HubSpot, covering CRM, CMS, workflows, lead scoring, pipeline management and reporting. Knowledge of CRM systems to manage and nurture leads
Design and content skills: Ability to brief and manage design and content teams to produce campaign assets, landing pages and pitch materials to a high standard. Strong briefing and quality review skills are required
Relevant experience: Proven track record in marketing, preferably in a digital agency, B2B technology or professional services environment. Experience managing external agencies, shared services teams or marketing service providers is essential
Industry knowledge: Understanding of the latest marketing trends and technologies

Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g. Optimizely, Contentful) or the digital agency market is highly desirable
