We are looking for a results-oriented Marketing Manager who combines creativity with analytical thinking. The ideal candidate will define brand positioning, pinpoint target audiences, and craft marketing strategies with clear objectives across multiple channels and segments, including e-commerce and social apps. This role demands hands-on experience in executing daily marketing operations as well as planning long-term initiatives, with the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
Job Responsibility:
Define brand positioning, target audiences, and marketing strategies with clear objectives across multiple channels and segments
Oversee end-to-end execution of marketing initiatives, coordinating internal resources and fostering cross-team collaboration
Leverage customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform effective marketing strategies
Develop and maintain analytics reports across platforms, extracting actionable insights to guide future campaigns and go-to-market plans
Collaborate with email, performance marketing, and web teams to design, test, and optimize lead-nurturing programs
Contribute to creative briefs and provide direction for advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video content
Plan and implement multichannel campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment across touchpoints
Manage content updates for customer-facing and internal channels, monitor budgets, support events, document business processes, and assist sales teams
Gather and analyze customer and market data to enhance outreach strategies, improve conversion rates, and generate qualified leads
Evaluate the performance of marketing activities through tracking and reporting, adjusting campaigns to maximize impact
Present marketing concepts and deliverables to internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership, including strategies and budget considerations
Work closely with external agencies and local partners to ensure integrated campaign execution
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, business, or a related discipline
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or senior marketing role
Critical Requirement: Must have relevant experience in both e-commerce and social apps, covering both online and offline marketing aspects
Solid expertise in online marketing and social media strategies, with a track record of success in developing interactive applications and networking platforms
Demonstrated ability to create and execute comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent project management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and making strategic decisions
Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
Flexibility to travel occasionally (based in Kuala Lumpur, with occasional trips to Australia)
Nice to have:
Mandarin proficiency is advantageous, as understanding Chinese culture will support engagement with stakeholders in China
