The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that support business development, brand positioning, and client pursuit efforts in the Texas market and beyond. This role partners closely with leadership, business development, and operations to elevate the company’s presence, win work, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute the company’s marketing and communications strategy aligned with business goals
Manage brand standards across all marketing materials, proposals, digital platforms, and collateral
Position the company effectively within key market sectors (MF, Adaptive reuse, Higher Ed, Mixed Use, commercial, etc.)
Lead the preparation of RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, and interview presentations
Coordinate with project teams to develop compelling project narratives, resumes, and case studies
Manage proposal schedules, content development, graphic design, and final production
Coach presenters and support interview strategy and messaging
Collaborate with business development leaders to support pursuit planning and client targeting
Develop marketing materials for client meetings, conferences, and industry events
Track and analyze win/loss data to improve future pursuits
Manage website content, project updates, and thought leadership
Oversee social media strategy (LinkedIn-focused) and content calendar
Develop internal and external communications, announcements, and press releases
Coordinate photography, videography, and project storytelling
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs within the Texas construction market
Maintain CRM and marketing databases
Measure marketing effectiveness and report on KPIs
Manage external consultants, designers, photographers, and printers
Oversee marketing budgets and schedule
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate
Strong experience with proposals, RFPs, and interview presentations
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms
Experience managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration skills with technical and executive teams
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills across all organizational levels
Nice to have:
Experience in the Texas construction market
Familiarity with project delivery methods (CMAR, Design-Build, Hard Bid)
Experience supporting business development and client pursuits
