Marc Jacobs Fragrances is looking for a Global Marketing Manager to join our team in New York. Along with the Marketing Director, the Global Marketing Manager is responsible for all areas of Global Product Marketing. He/she/they will put forth innovative and inspiring products that ultimately aid in the growth of the brand. He/she/they will be responsible for concepting and ideating, as well as collaborating throughout all touch point: Consumer insights - Concept Ideation – Bottle and Packaging Development – Fragrance Development – Merchandising – Digital/Social – Promo and, ultimately, Go-to- Market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute plans in a timely manner through the entire life cycle of development including but not limited to concept ideation, bottle and packaging development, fragrance development, merchandising, digital/social, and promotional tools
  • Interface with all internal multifunctional teams (e.g., Creative, Packaging, Purchasing, Finance) as well as external vendors (Ad Agency, Public Relations agency, Promotional houses)
  • Manage all processes to initiate new projects and development of all support elements, including readiness meetings, product offerings, cost of goods, briefs to cross functional partners, purchase order, etc.
  • Conduct category and competitive assessment and identify market trends and consumer insights that will help influence strategic business recommendations
  • Help prepare meetings with senior leadership and fragrance houses, leading decks creations as well as room set up

Requirements:

  • 4-year undergraduate degree
  • 3-5 years of previous marketing development experience required
  • Previous experience in the beauty world is a plus
  • Should demonstrate strong sense of creativity and innovation
  • Strong Power Point skills
  • Should demonstrate ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be mature, responsible, accountable and organized as well as exhibit excellence in execution

  • A healthy skepticism for the way fragrance brands typically talk about themselves and their products
