Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Marketing Manager to serve as the 'Chief of Strategy' for our brand portfolio. This is a high-ownership role where you will own the marketing roadmap, lead a full creative and event team, and proactively identify market trends to keep the business ahead of the competition. You must be equally skilled at analyzing commercial sales reports as you are at directing viral social media content or negotiating high-level brand partnerships.

Job Responsibility

  • Full-Spectrum Leadership: Lead and mentor the entire marketing department, including content creators, designers, and event coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Proactive Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive annual marketing plans and go-to-market strategies, ensuring contingency plans are in place to meet business KPIs
  • Performance & ROI Reporting: Provide detailed weekly and monthly business reviews that translate marketing efforts into measurable sales growth and foot traffic
  • Brand Evolution: Constantly audit the brand’s visual identity across online and in-store channels to ensure market-leading presentation and brand equity
  • Partnership & Collaboration Lead: Identify and secure strategic partnerships with external P.R., F&B, and lifestyle brands to elevate market positioning
  • Event & Activation Mastery: Oversee the planning and execution of all outlet events and retail activations, ensuring they maximize impact while staying within A&P budgets
  • Omni-Channel Strategy: Drive engagement across digital platforms (TikTok, IG, XHS) while simultaneously managing on-ground retail marketing tools and promotions

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing management, preferably within the experiential retail, lifestyle, or FMCG sectors
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with creative editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe) and marketing software
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record in people management, stakeholder engagement, and managing external agency partners
  • Language & Communication: Professional fluency in English and Malay
  • proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred to manage specific brand partnerships and demographics
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to various regional retail outlets and flagship locations as required by project needs
  • Mindset: A strong commercial mindset with a 'solution-first' approach and extreme ownership of brand results
