Job Description:

As a Marketing Manager for our HVAC Business, you will be accountable for driving the global strategic planning and execution of the annual marketing communications plan for HVAC systems and solutions. This role provides global oversight of marketing strategy and planning for the HVAC business, while direct execution responsibility focuses on the US market. For execution in other regions, you will collaborate with regional marketing partners who will resource and localize initiatives for their applicable regions to ensure relevance and prioritization. This role will have direct reports responsible for US market execution and requires extensive collaboration with regional marketing partners globally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute global marketing strategy and annual marketing plans for HVAC business in alignment with worldwide growth objectives. Lead direct execution in the US market while coordinating strategic implementation through regional marketing partners globally
  • Regional Partnership Management: Collaborate with regional marketing partners to ensure global strategy is appropriately resourced, localized, and prioritized for their specific markets while maintaining brand consistency and strategic alignment
  • Ownership: promotional campaign strategy including annual print and digital advertising plan
  • tradeshow and event strategy including annual plan
  • public relations and thought leadership initiatives
  • globally aligned content development strategy and plan including sales enablement tools
  • Global Strategy Coordination: Interface with global sales leadership, corporate and regional marketing partners, and business teams to conceptualize, manage and implement integrated communications plans required for cohesive global marketing of HVAC products and solutions
  • Market Intelligence Integration: Coordinate with market intelligence and strategy development functions to leverage market insights and voice-of-customer data in construction of marketing communication efforts that break through channel noise
  • Team Leadership: Responsible for leading and developing a team of direct reports focused on US market execution while driving strong coordination and communication with regional marketing partners
  • Event Management: Plan, execute and provide onsite support for HVAC market tradeshows and events as required
  • Tactical Execution: Bridge internal and external resources to strategically lead and develop tactical plans across collateral (technical, marketing, training), digital (social, website, video, email, SEO), public relations, conferences and events, and advertising
  • Process Improvement: The position is challenged to quickly and correctly identify problems and work collaboratively to resolve issues holistically and in the best interest of the team, department and Victaulic
  • Quality Impact: Work impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, and Process Quality. Participate in brainstorming sessions focused on developing new approaches to meeting these quality goals

Requirements:

  • College degree in marketing and/or communications desired
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in B2B marketing
  • Construction or HVAC industry experience highly desired
  • Experience leading one or more direct reports
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry, products, applications, and marketing resources preferred
