Marketing Manager – Business Strategy [Investment] for a Government-Linked Investment Management firm in Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for investment products, including digital campaigns, events, and promotions to enhance brand visibility and engagement
  • Craft compelling marketing materials, presentations, and messaging to clearly convey product value and strengthen the company’s brand positioning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and retail investors, delivering tailored communications and ensuring a positive client experience
  • Provide market insights and feedback to the investment team to guide the creation, positioning, and promotion of new investment products
  • Expand and support the network of distribution agents (IUTA), providing training, guidance, and marketing resources to drive awareness and adoption
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory standards
  • prepare reports for senior management highlighting campaign performance, market trends, and key achievements

Requirements

  • A Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 4 to 6 years of related experience, ideally coming from a Banking or Asset Management background with a focus on Relationship Management (RM)
  • Must hold a Capital Market Services Representative’s License (CMSRL) for Fund Management and a Unit Trust License
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and AUM growth
  • Strong knowledge of the unit trust industry and capital markets
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to conduct high-level presentations with finesse and confidence
  • A proactive "self-starter" attitude with the ability to handle stressful situations and meet tight deadlines
