An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, creative and passionate Marketing Lead to join our award-winning commercial team. The main purpose of this role is to support revenue growth at the Cooper Associates County Ground from a conference and events and cricket perspective.
Job Responsibility:
Support revenue growth at the Cooper Associates County Ground from a conference and events and cricket perspective
Adopt marketing activities to grow membership and ticketing base through e-marketing and other marketing campaigns
Lead audience acquisition and retention efforts by analysing the success of engagement campaigns
Develop innovative multi-channel strategies to attract prospects
Report on campaign performance
Effectively manage relationship and events marketing
Create amplification networks across external stakeholders to maximise marketing opportunities
Oversee the invitation strategy aimed at attracting new cricket audiences
Coordinate themed cricket events
Work closely with the wider commercial team and external partners to deliver successful events such as festivals and family days
Provide strategic leadership of email marketing and data management
Manage communication channels
Drive database growth through automation and profiling strategies
Ensure best practices are followed
Conduct audience research to identify new prospects
Support the creation of targeted campaigns for ticketing and memberships
Continuously analyse to optimise marketing efforts
Provide strategic support to the commercial department and partnership activations
Ensure sponsors receive prominent exposure
Ensure merchandise, ticketing, and hospitality initiatives are effectively promoted
Produce regular reports
Analyse client data to inform growth strategies
Support sponsorship and activation campaigns
Collaborate on digital marketing initiatives
Maintain advertising materials
Contribute to the overall marketing strategy with fresh ideas
Develop an events strategy for the venue
Manage customer feedback processes
Maintain external stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
Proven experience in marketing, communications, or brand management
Strong track record of delivering integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional channels
Experience in event marketing and management
Experience utilising data marketing and analytics to derive business insights
Expertise in developing and managing influencer or strategic partnerships, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools
Experience working with agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to execute campaigns
Skilled in producing marketing collateral
Hold a marketing qualification such as CIM, degree or equivalent
Experience in both B2B and B2C campaigns, including paid social, PPC, and SEO
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
Innovative, creative, proactive, and highly motivated
