Job Description
The Marketing Lead, Senior Vice President is responsible for the marketing strategy for retailer portfolios, and the day-to-day point of contact for the partner. The individual will lead the planning, development and optimization of marketing strategies to drive acquisitions, spend, loyalty and retention. They will drive progress forward by collaborating with the broader marketing team, partner management, finance, analytics, the Citi Cards team – and the partner to develop marketing programs focused on growth and ensure delivery of programs to meet business objectives.
Job Responsibility
Serve as a key member of the marketing team, providing thought leadership and creativity to meet sales, revenue, acquisitions, and engagement goals
Provide expertise and guidance related to program management processes and policies, oversees the work of the program management team, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and execute projects and programs
Develop annual marketing plan in partnership with the partner and internal teams inclusive of budgets and resource needs
Responsible for ensuring the proper controls are in place and processes are well documented and monitored on a regular basis
Identify program requirements, activities and manage implementation of projects as assigned, working with appropriate cross-functional teams to execute
Responsible for managing, tracking and coordinating multiple projects and resource planning
Responsible for risk and issue management, reporting on project metrics and prioritization process
Provide metrics on teams and project performance to ensure the growth and development of the team as well as providing a foundation for making data-driven decisions
Develop key dashboards and communication plans to keep all parties up to date regarding project statuses and issues
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements
10+ years of experience
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on action and problem solving
Proven ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams
Thoughtful and intellectually curious
with a growth mindset
Excellent planning, forecasting, reporting and analytical skills
Strong digital and acquisitions experience
Knowledge of private label credit cards and consumer finance a significant plus
