Job Description:

As a Marketing Intern you will convert IKEA visitors into IKEA FAMILY members and if applied into IKEA BUSINESS members and activate existing members. In this way you contribute to strengthening IKEA's position as a leader in home furnishing.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct analysis to understand the local market so that IKEA is the Leader in Home Living and drive long-term shop growth and profitability
Take charge of local marketing by updating the local web page, Google My Business, publishing Facebook posts and sending enews to IKEA Family members
Combine an in-depth understanding of people's lives at home in the Liège PMA with analysis of relevant research and analysis of performance data and communicate this knowledge to inform the shop strategy, to grow the shop's market share and improve long-term profitability by developing long-term relationships with our customers
In collaboration with the national marketing department, plan and coordinate the implementation of the shop's external communication plan focusing on IKEA owned media to promote relevant messages in the most effective way to IKEA FAMILY members, IKEA BUSINESS members, customers and consumers

Requirements:

You are interested in interior design and home living
You have knowledge/skills in digital marketing and social networks
You are able to solve problems and make decisions in a constantly changing retail environment
You engage your colleagues by creating passion for your plans
You are commercially minded, results driven and customer focused
You challenge yourself and your colleagues to exceed our customers' expectations and constantly look for new ways to work

You are open and honest in working with others
You speak and write fluently (one) of the languages of the shop region and English
