To give thrust to Industrial and Commercial business for marketing and other allied activities in PNG realizing increased sales volumes for the Company
ACHIEVING BUDGETED GAS VOLUME TARGETS by: Conducting potential analysis, demand survey analysis for Industrial and large Commercial Consumers in MGL’s authorised GAs and Identification of customers to be targeted
Drafting, negotiation, execution and management of Gas Sales Contracts and amendments to the Contracts to cater to dynamic business requirement for a win-win situation and enhance value creation for MGL
Assisting in formulation of marketing strategy to (i) retain & enhance existing I&C volume (ii) expedite MGL’s efforts to convert untapped potential
Conducting detailed survey of new area development / new applications by understanding and analysis of business demand
Ensuring new registration as per set target in Industrial & Large (B, C, AC, Z and Commercial Mall) Commercial contracting / registrations
Carrying out promotional activities to generate potential/ front on periodic basis and spread across all authorized geographical areas
Arranging periodic meeting with MPCB officials and ensure close coordination with these officials to garner support for conversion from polluting fuels to clean Natural Gas
Ensuring timely perusal with registered customers for completion of customer scope of work
ACHIEVING BUDGETED REGISTRATION TARGETS AND GAS VOLUME TARGETS by: Conducting detailed surveys and derive detailed understanding of Commercial potential in target markets
Identifying the prospective customers and asses techno-commercial feasibility in association with Planning/Project team and maintaining the database of the same
Continuous follow up with Customers & Project dept for completion of downstream activity and conversion of Commercial “A” customers
Soliciting legal opinion for resolving problematic cases where Society NOC is an issue or customer not ready to start downstream activities etc
Requirements:
Priority 1 – Prior B2B sales experience, preferably in engineering / technical related products such as industrial equipment, industrial solutions, industrial design, chemicals or other raw material sales, any other products required in industries
Priority 2 - Sales or Product Management experience having preferably handled Channel sales / Retail network management in consumer products
Preferred industries - industrial equipment / industrial solutions / industrial design or consultancy/ chemicals or other raw material sales/ sales of any other products required in industries such as spares, tyres, lubricants, paints etc
Should be willing to work in field intensively
Should have good communication, relationship-building skills and an analytical approach
Fluent in spoken and written (business emails and letters) English
Customer centricity
Prior experience of interaction with institutions / Government bodies
Ability to analyse any problem and suggest discrete, logical problem-solving steps
Should have expert working knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word. Knowledge of any other analytical tools will be an advantage

Must be committed, go getter and enthusiastic
Must be a strong team player
Preferable - Full time B.Tech (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Civil). For B.Tech graduates, MBA is not essential but will be an added advantage
Minimum acceptable - Full Time Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline (apart from B.Tech or equivalent) with MBA (full-time compulsory)
Minimum experience of essential competency (If in Priority 1) – 2 years
(If in Priority 2) – 3 years
Relevant experience – Must have spent significant part of career in Sales or Product Management
