Job Responsibility:
Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, schools, faith groups, and community partners
Support fundraising campaigns, events, and sponsorship opportunities
Research and submit funding bids (up to £10,000)
Track performance, maintain records, and report on fundraising activity
Support supporters, staff, and young people to get involved in fundraising activities
Create engaging content across social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Manage and update multiple websites to ensure fresh, relevant content
Design eye-catching campaigns, adverts, and promotional materials (including video)
Write compelling stories, press releases, and case studies
Lead internal communications, including newsletters
Monitor engagement and protect the organisation’s reputation online
Requirements:
At least 2 years’ experience in marketing, fundraising, or the third sector
Proven experience managing social media and content scheduling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and project management skills
Confident using tools such as Canva, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience writing funding bids or proposals
Knowledge of marketing and fundraising strategies
Experience with platforms like Metricool
