As a Marketing Executive, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing activity across Immediate Live’s 15+ consumer events and be a key part of championing change in how we evolve and grow to meet the needs of our audiences. You will work within the central marketing team and report to the Senior Visitor & Exhibitor Marketing Manager, helping to bring our shows to life through effective communications, content and campaign execution. You’ll gain valuable experience working across both visitor and exhibitor marketing campaigns, play a key role in developing and delivering our new event app platform, learning how to deliver marketing activity that drives audience engagement and commercial success, and other special projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone starting out in marketing to grow in a collaborative, supportive and fast-paced team.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with delivery of the Event App
Support the day-to-day execution of campaign activity across multiple channels, including
email, social, web and print
Create and update marketing content, images and copy, in-line with brand guidelines
Build and schedule email campaigns using Adestra and manage lists/data segmentation
Help maintain day-to-day relationships with relevant agencies and suppliers including research, ticketing, product & tech, CRM
Collaborate across marketing, sales, finance and content teams to maximise campaign or project efficiencies
Coordinate the approvals process for campaign assets with stakeholders
Monitor campaign engagement and collate results for reporting
Own administrative processes
Capture and organise content onsite (e.g. photography, testimonials, exhibitor quotes)
Assist with audience surveys, reports and competitor research for future campaigns
Requirements:
An interest in marketing and events
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working across multiple tasks and using standard office tools (e.g. Word, Excel)
Able to attend events, some of which may take place outside of normal working hours
Nice to have:
Some familiarity with social media, email platforms or CMS is a plus, but not essential
