This is a remote position. flydocs is a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of aviation technology, providing cutting-edge solutions to streamline aircraft documentation and maintenance processes. We are 100% owned by Lufthansa Technik and, together with our partner companies Swiss Aviation Software, AVIATAR and Lufthansa Technik Engineering Services, we make up the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem. As the Marketing Executive, you will be a pivotal team member in flydocs’ team of three, working inside the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem Marketing team. This role provides content marketing support across customer and product marketing activity, alongside entity and Ecosystem employer branding, ensuring the delivery of lead-generating marketing campaigns, events and consistent, employee-centric internal communications. The role will serve multiple stakeholders across the Ecosystem, enabling clear storytelling and a seamless customer and team experience. This is a remote position, with intentional collaboration hubs in Birmingham and London. However, the applicant should be willing and able to travel approximately 25% of time across the UK, mainland Europe and India.
Job Responsibility:
Work with product marketing and the People team to create tactical marketing campaigns that increase both corporate and employer brand awareness: Planning and alignment with Ecosystem regional / product marketing leads around narratives, latest developments and customer success
Developing compelling messaging and executing campaign activity across multiple channels
Tracking and analysing performance to optimise future campaigns
Write exceptional and technically accurate content with an understanding of SEO and personalised content, including blog posts, articles, case studies, email marketing, social posts, press releases testimonials, videos and more
Drive an internal communications framework for transformation milestones, strategy rollout and employee updates
Develop and manage a Knowledge Hub or Intranet to shorten the employee onboarding to proficiency timeline
Form part of our engagement team that delivers culture and engagement events, e.g. townhalls, collaboration weeks
Support Ecosystem regional leads with entity and Ecosystem marketing events and webinars, with accountability for vendor relationships, logistics and ensuring brand integrity
Use intermediate-level design and video creation skills to create multi-channel marketing assets, including social media, email, event collateral, advertising, webinars and ad-hoc branding requests
Daily marketing administration, including supporting wider teams with Monday.com / Hubspot requests and inbox management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Commercial, Product, People and Business Intelligence, to gather customer and employee insights, market trends and identify opportunities
Become one of our brand champions, ensuring brand integrity, tone of voice and visual guidelines are adhered to across all channels and touchpoints, collaborating with design agency partners where required
Requirements:
Proven 6+ years marketing experience, particularly in areas such as campaign planning and execution (both customer and employee facing), event coordination and content creation
Experience using Hubspot, Wordpress and the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, PremierePro and Express) is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and strong editing & proofreading skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A strong understanding of the B2B technology sector is essential, with aviation maintenance industry a bonus
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or relevant professional accreditation (e.g. CIM / Mini MBA) is beneficial, but not essential
