City Splash is the UK’s leading reggae, dancehall and afrobeats festival and we’re looking for a brilliant, energetic and engaged Marketing Executive to take this even further. Your role will be to take lead of the social media at City Splash, actively generating ideas to maximise the ticket sales of the festival and build a digital presence. Pack Group is a dynamic marketing, events and hospitality focused organisation that prides itself on creating exceptional experiences for our clients and customers and we’re looking for someone to support our team. You will be working on a range of projects including festivals such as Wide Awake, Field Day, Cross The Tracks, City Splash and incredible events across some of London’s top venues including Fabric, HERE at Outernet, Brixton Jamm, Corsica Studios, Between The Bridges + many more.
Job Responsibility:
Support management of the social media and marketing plan for City Splash festival
Create unique and effective content to use cross-platform
Lead on culturally relevant content creation
To be focused on meeting business targets for sales, platform growth and be an avid contributor in ways these can be met
To be able to report with precision and attention to detail, analysing impacts of strategy and sharing with the wider team
Take ownership of the festival’s social media and communications, adapting to trends and internal information
Work with marketing manager to devise and execute a detailed social media marketing plan for City Splash festival that covers all key platforms, reflecting and analysing throughout
Lead on the copywriting for City Splash communications across web, social media and beyond
Creative content production from simple graphics to Reels using appropriate tools like InShot, Adobe, Canva
Plan the content calendar with great attention to detail and with up-to-date industry knowledge inputted using platforms such as Later and Hootsuite
Be responsible for all inbound and outbound communications from our official platforms and inbox
Collaborate with the design teams for content needs, briefing in a timely manner
Input into the promotion of the event
liaise with relevant media avenues, write press releases and mailers, ensure website and social media platforms are up to date, coordinate the production and distribution of printed assets, coordinate the production of online assets
Work with other partners where necessary including influencer management, PR, brand partnerships and collaborations
Be a happy, enthusiastic and friendly first point of online contact for our City Splash audience and festival goers
Support the development of monthly and yearly reports with attention to detail and ability to analyse effectively
Source and secure influencer collaborations, draft and review contracts, and manage ongoing relationships to maximise brand visibility
Working closely with designers to provide clear briefs, feedback, and ensure timely delivery of assets aligned with campaign and brand goals
Assist in planning and executing events outside of the main festival such as City Splash Week, warm up parties or other shows under the brand
Manage lineup announcements by reaching out to artists and agents, coordinating approvals, and overseeing the creation and delivery of promotional assets
Due to the nature of our group of companies, from time to time, your role will also include work on other brands and roles within the company as requested by your line manager or the management team
Requirements:
16+ years old
English & maths GCSE or equivalent grade above C/4
driven, self-motivated person with a creative flair and a talent for social media content creation
passion for live music, festivals and Caribbean culture
previous experience leading social and marketing strategy within events or music
problem solver with excellent communication skills
