The Marketing Events Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the Asmodee global events team and studio marketing team to plan and execute Studio Big’s presence at Gen Con 2026. Studio Big includes Asmodee’s North American board game studios: Z-Man, Office Dog, and Unexpected Games. The role will report to the studio’s Sr. Marketing Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with marketing management and the global events team to align the Gen Con event strategy
Own the timelines and deliverables for the Gen Con project, including ensuring timely delivery from internal and external partners
Become an expert in the studio’s games and the Gen Con audience to help craft unforgettable experiences
Travel to Indianapolis, IN to execute marketing initiatives live at Gen Con (Tuesday July 28th to Monday August 3rd)
Manage talent and external talent, as needed, for event coverage
Collect data on-site for post-event reporting
Requirements:
Current student or recent graduate in the fields of Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or similar
Working knowledge of project management software, experience with Monday.com is a plus
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of communication apps
Some experience work at or attending tabletop game conventions preferred
Ability to manage a tight timeline with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Ability to pivot quickly and make on-the-spot judgement calls in high-stress situations
Ability to work within a strict budget and report on spending
Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication
Curiousity-forward aproach to solution seeking
Nice to have:
Working knowledge of project management software, experience with Monday.com is a plus
Some experience work at or attending tabletop game conventions preferred
