We’re looking for a highly organized, execution-focused contract Events Marketing Manager to support our event program during a critical growth period. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in startup environments and understands how events drive credibility, pipeline, and partnerships in healthcare. You’ll partner closely with our Senior Events Marketing Manager to bring strategy to life across industry conferences, hosted executive events, and partner activations. We’re looking for someone who can ramp quickly, operate independently, and execute flawlessly, particularly in environments that involve healthcare providers, health systems, enterprise buyers, or regulated settings.

  • Translate event goals (pipeline generation, brand credibility, partner visibility) into detailed plans and execution
  • Partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success and Marketing to align on meeting scheduling, lead capture, and on-site engagement strategy
  • Ensure event messaging resonates with target audiences, including total rewards leaders, health plans, employers, and enterprise stakeholders
  • Proactively identify risks, recommend solutions, and maintain strong communication across teams
  • Own day-to-day coordination with venues, agencies, production vendors, execution fulfillment, and conference organizers
  • Track event budgets carefully and flag variances early
  • Support contract management, invoice processing, and documentation
  • Maintain high-quality execution while operating within startup budget constraints
  • Ensure proper lead capture and CRM processes are followed at events
  • Gather post-event metrics including attendance, meetings held, engagement, and pipeline influence and partner with the demand gen team to report on these activities
  • Contribute to recap reports with insights and recommendations
  • Help document repeatable processes as we scale our healthcare event program

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing experience
  • Experience executing industry conferences or trade shows in healthcare, health tech, SaaS, or other enterprise B2B environments
  • Proven ability to independently run events from concept to completion
  • Strong understanding of how events support longer enterprise sales cycles
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Calm, solution-oriented, and decisive under pressure with excellent judgement
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing startup environments
  • Strong communicator who builds trust across Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships
  • Willingness to travel and be hands-on at events

Nice to have:

  • Experience engaging benefits and employer HR stakeholders
