Job Description

As Marketing Director, UK & France, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Airwallex’s growth and market presence across the UK, Ireland, and France. You’ll develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, lead and inspire a high-performing team, and partner closely with commercial, sales, and global marketing teams to deliver ambitious growth targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop the marketing strategy and plan for the UK, Ireland, and France, partnering with commercial teams to set our overall go-to-market (GTM) approach
  • Continue to build and develop a growing team of field, partner, and country marketing managers
  • Lead this team in executing the plan, partnering with regional and global marketing and the wider organisation as needed
  • Drive brand awareness and consideration for Airwallex through storytelling, creative campaigns, partnerships, and thought leadership
  • Lead demand generation efforts to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts drive pipeline growth
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to gather insights, identify opportunities for growth, and keep our customers at the centre of everything we do
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and media
  • Manage local marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on brand building, integrated marketing campaigns, and commercial growth
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop a team and drive impact across the wider business
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in the UK and France markets
  • Strong creative judgement and experience running campaigns and developing compelling value propositions
  • Ability to bring fresh thinking and bold creative ideas, based on a track record of marketing thought leadership
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Deep understanding of the fintech landscape, including trends, regulations, and key players
  • Experience in a complex business environment with multiple products and features catering to diverse customer needs
