Job Description:

As a Marketing Development Analyst, you will power Bombardier’s digital client outreach engine by enhancing how we segment, target, and deliver communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). You will also play a critical role in supporting Sales, fueling Marketing’s campaign ideation, and driving organizational adoption of Marketing Cloud tools and best practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build, maintain, and optimize data extensions, segmentation logic, contact attributes, and journey rules in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Own the end-to-end email deployment process—data prep, segmentation, QA, approvals, sending, and reporting—ensuring precision and compliance
  • Improve system efficiency by optimizing automations, reducing manual work, and scaling operational workflows
  • Ensure strict adherence to privacy, consent, and communication governance
  • Work with Marketing, Communications, Sales, Customer Experience, Digital/IT, and Legal as required to deliver compliant, timely, and relevant communications
  • Act as an internal champion of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, promoting best practices, governance, and operational excellence across the organization
  • Train and coach stakeholders on SFMC capabilities (segmentation, personalization, automation, reporting) to broaden adoption and elevate maturity
  • Develop documentation, how-to guides, and recommended practices to improve consistency and reduce errors in digital communication processes
  • Provide audience insights, engagement data, and performance trends to Marketing teams to help shape campaign concepts, timing, and targeting strategies
  • Conduct ongoing data quality checks and analyses to identify new segmentation opportunities, under-reached audiences, and list growth strategies
  • Create dashboards or extracts to communicate meaningful trends that support decision-making and long-term planning
  • Act as a liaison to Sales, translating business needs into segmentation requirements, audience logic, and deployment plans
  • Provide Sales with clear reporting on communication reach, coverage, and engagement to support customer follow-ups and pipeline initiatives
  • Ensure Marketing Cloud activities are tightly coordinated with Sales calendars, event cycles, customer meetings, and territory strategies
  • Support additional parallel Sales analytics activities as required for the team related to market performance, customer base and pipeline

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, IT, Business, or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in email marketing operations, Marketing Cloud, CRM/marketing automation, or other relevant domains
  • Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Data Extensions) is ideal
  • Strong data analysis capabilities (segmentation logic, data cleaning, reporting)
  • Comfortable navigating and learning multiple technologies quickly
  • adaptable to evolving digital tools
  • Demonstrated proactivity, problem-solving ability, and ownership mentality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including an internationally based Sales team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Written and oral Mastery of the English language required
