Job Description

We are seeking a Marketing Data Specialist for a 9-month contract with a leading healthcare organization in Nashville. This role is designed for a data-driven professional who can bridge the gap between complex healthcare datasets and actionable marketing strategies. You will be responsible for managing data hygiene, segmenting patient and provider audiences, and providing the insights necessary to drive multi-channel campaign performance. As this is a hybrid role, the candidate must be local to the Nashville area and comfortable working onsite at our client’s office three days a week.

Job Responsibility

  • Extract and analyze data from various marketing platforms to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Build and maintain complex list segmentations for email marketing, direct mail, and digital advertising campaigns while ensuring compliance with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA)
  • Create and maintain visual reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate performance metrics to stakeholders
  • Perform regular data audits and clean-up to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the marketing database
  • Partner with the Creative and Digital teams to optimize campaign targeting based on historical data trends

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data management, or a related field
  • Previous experience working within the healthcare industry and a strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or HubSpot)
  • Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience building reports in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio

Nice to have

  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Workfront or Asana
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into 'plain English' for non-technical leadership
