Job Description

To accelerate marketing campaign execution by serving as the primary point of contact within Marketing for all list and segmentation requests to Analytics. This contractor will play a critical role in ensuring requests are defined, communicated, and tracked by collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role will help improve the requirements and overall process to support data-driven marketing strategies.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as a liaison between Marketing and Analytics to gather and refine marketing requirements for data requests
  • Submit and track data requests to Analytics who will develop lists and dashboards for: Email marketing campaigns
  • 6sense intent segments
  • Gift drop programs
  • ICPTAM targeting
  • Persona-based segmentation
  • Product-specific and pain-point aligned campaigns
  • Client Marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of these tools will help with translating marketing strategy into requirements: 6sense
  • ZoomInfo
  • Dun & Bradstreet
  • Salesforce (CRM)
  • Eloqua (MAP)
  • Understand data housed in each system and how it supports segmentation, enrichment and outreach
  • Identify which segments/campaigns require list or dashboard development outside of Eloqua/6sense
  • Works closely with: Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Sales, Campaign Planners and Analytics teams
  • Meet with teams to gather and refine requirements across campaigns and other marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with Analytics to streamline the request process and support continuous improvement
  • Provide recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders on list requirements to improve targeting and maximize effectiveness
  • Ensure outreach complies with internal and external data governance policies
  • Ensure compliance with data usage policies (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
  • Maintain a centralized backlog of all active and completed requests with Analytics
  • Monitor for duplication of requests across campaigns to avoid redundancy
  • Document lists/segments created including inclusion/exclusion criteria and intended application, to support reuse and reference across requests
  • Outline list-building processes and segmentation logic
  • Define gaps and provide regular updates, insights, and best practices for improved automation/processes
  • Define success metrics and track performance of the requests

Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B marketing segmentation, requirements gathering, process coordination, and campaign support
  • Experience with marketing data platforms (6sense, ZoomInfo, D&B)
  • Familiarity with Eloqua and Salesforce or similar MAP/CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and marketing compliance
  • Ability to interpret marketing strategy and recommend actionable segmentation requirements
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills across multiple departments

Nice to have

Experience with CRMA dashboards, Snowflake, or CDPs
