Robert Half is seeking a detail‑driven Marketing Data Analyst for a Washington, DC client. This temporary role is ideal for someone who can quickly step into a fast‑paced marketing environment, analyze campaign performance, and translate data into insights that drive strategy and growth.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze marketing campaign performance across digital channels (email, social, paid media, web)
Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs, conversion metrics, and audience behavior
Clean, validate, and organize marketing datasets from CRM, automation platforms, and analytics tools
Provide insights and recommendations to improve targeting, segmentation, and ROI
Support A/B testing, attribution modeling, and customer journey analysis
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align data insights with business goals
Maintain data accuracy and documentation for ongoing reporting processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Business, or related field
2+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data analysis
Proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and attribution
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to non‑technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience with Python or R for data manipulation
Familiarity with SEO/SEM analytics tools (Google Ads, SEMrush, Moz)
Background in agency, nonprofit, or government‑adjacent environments
