We are growing our marketing team and seeking a full-time, intermediate-level marketing coordinator to join the team at our Silverwater office, assisting the Marketing Manager in developing and delivering all internal and external marketing campaigns. This is a busy, stimulating role where no two days are the same and you will be helping to look after events, digital marketing, branding and administration. This role demands a versatile individual with expertise in various marketing and design facets, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive amidst obstacles, take ownership of their responsibilities, and drive results. You will be included in all aspects of events and marketing and will be a highly valued member of the team whose creative ideas will be welcomed and considered. Unfortunately, we do not have Hybrid options for this role, it is full-time on site.
Job Responsibility:
Roll out our digital marketing strategy, including crafting diverse lighting-related posts on social media, creating engaging and effective Mailchimp campaigns, and updating content on our websites using WordPress
Create and manage our digital creative assets and marketing content using Adobe suite, Acrobat, and Premiere, including company branding, online content, and printed materials
Collaborate alongside team members to plan and develop marketing ideas, campaigns, promotional strategies, merchandise, and ensure all materials accurately reflect brand positioning and messaging
Plan and coordinate meetings, events, conferences and trade shows. Identify requirements, secure venues, develop schedules, and manage logistics to ensure successful outcomes
Take the initiative to proactively identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives forward. Take ownership of tasks and projects, seeing them through to completion
Requirements:
English proficiency with very strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create appealing technical content across a wide range of mediums, including graphic, copy, and video
Expertise in digital marketing, including digital platforms, trends, and analytic tools
Attention to detail – an impeccable eye for detail and proofreading, as well as confidence in grammar, punctuation, and technical spellings
Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Great administration and organisation skills with the ability to multi-task
The ability to manage your own time effectively and adhere to deadlines
Self-motivated and accountable, with a willingness to learn and develop in a collaborative environment
Calm and confident under pressure, and able to remain agile during multitasking and moving deadlines
A professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills
intermediate understanding of marketing principles in a B2B environment with either a tertiary qualification in marketing or at least 3 years’ full time work experience in a similar role in product marketing
