Job Description

The Marketing Communications Operations Contractor will support the Brand Experience and Communications Creative and Content teams by removing operational and administrative burden, improving day-to-day workflow efficiency, and helping establish more sustainable, repeatable processes. This role is focused on enabling creative teams to spend more time creating by handling intake, coordination, tracking and process discipline, with a strong emphasis on hands-on execution and driving work to completion, while piloting operational approaches that can be scaled or made permanent. Working closely with Creative, Content, and Brand Communications, and Marketing partners, this role will help bring structure, clarity and visibility to how work flows through the organization. The contractor will support project intake, prioritization, timelines and reporting across interconnected workstreams while documenting and improving processes that reduce friction, rework and unnecessary overhead. This role serves as a practical trial for longer-term Creative/Content Operations capabilities and will contribute directly to defining what effective, scalable Ops support looks like for BE+C.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and manage day-to-day operational tasks for Creative and Content teams
  • Serve as central point of coordination for work requests
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and dependencies
  • Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks or gaps in information
  • Reduce ad-hoc requests and context-switching
  • Analyze existing workflows for inefficiencies and suggest standardized solutions
  • Proactively understand upcoming projects and lead cross-functional status updates
  • Participate in workshops related to creative and content project management
  • Own and administer Workfront as primary workflow tool
  • Assess existing workflows and document streamlined processes
  • Embed with Creative and Content teams to understand constraints
  • Support asset and image intake processes
  • Support toolkit development
  • Introduce pilot lightweight solutions
  • Partner with Creative, Content, Brand Communications and Marketing stakeholders
  • Facilitate clear handoffs between teams

Requirements

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a focus on creative projects
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Comfort identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements
  • Comfort managing timelines, dependencies, and follow-ups without formal authority
  • Able to work independently in a remote setting and manage shifting priorities
  • Comfort introducing new ways of working in support of creative teams
  • Experience with Workfront and Smartsheet preferred
  • Broad, end-to-end creative project management experience with foundational knowledge across creative disciplines
