Job Description:

This brand-new role is pivotal in driving brand awareness and fostering engagement among internal staff, external customers, suppliers, and the communities they serve. The successful candidate will develop and execute communication strategies that align with business objectives, reinforce core values, and highlight the organisation's impact.

Job Responsibility:

Craft and execute internal and external communication strategies
Create compelling content for newsletters, press releases, social media, and more
Lead internal engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
Manage media relations to enhance brand reputation through strategic PR
Oversee digital marketing efforts, ensuring SEO-optimised and engaging content
Analyse communication effectiveness and recommend improvements

Requirements:

3-4 years in marketing and communications, ideally in a B2B environment (civil engineering, construction, or related technical industry preferred)
Proven success in internal/external communications, PR, and digital marketing
Strong stakeholder engagement and community management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Leadership skills for guiding the executive team on best practises in Marketing/Communications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok)
Experience with analytics tools
Familiar using CMS platforms, SEO tools, social media management tools, and analytics software

Nice to have:

Knowledge of the civil engineering sector and its specific communication
