Robert Half is partnering with a mid-sized, growth-focused Chicago law firm seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to support and elevate the firm’s brand, business development initiatives, and internal/external communications. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, creative, and detail-oriented marketing professional who excels in content development, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Job Responsibility:
Support and implement firmwide marketing plans
Lead the writing, editing, design, and production of marketing materials for the firm, practice areas, and individual attorneys
Manage internal and external newsletters, including content development, editing, layout, and distribution list management
Oversee award nomination processes, including drafting submissions, coordinating press releases, and creating digital/print ads for honorees
Maintain and update the firm’s website—refreshing content, managing functionality, launching new modules, monitoring SEO, and analyzing site performance
Coordinate communications for new attorneys and promotions, including bios, photos, digital announcements, LinkedIn posts, and media placements
Facilitate advertising efforts for attorneys and practice groups, including sponsorships and promotional materials
Manage all firm photography (headshots, environmental, event photography)
Lead the firm’s social media initiatives, including coaching attorneys, updating policies, and creating graphics
Oversee attorney directory and rating service submissions (e.g., Chambers, Leading Lawyers, Super Lawyers), including vendor communications and contract reviews
Strategize, plan, and execute firm events such as seminars, receptions, speaking engagements, and signature firm programs
Support media relations efforts consistent with firm guidelines
Build and manage content pipelines, including attorney-written articles, client testimonials, and branded programs
Assist with new hire onboarding, including bio drafting, photos, and orientation meetings
