This organisation acts as a trusted partner for major Australian corporations and governments aiming to transition to net-zero and enhance sustainability. The Marketing and Communications Lead takes responsibility for planning, developing, and delivering effective marketing, communications, and community engagement strategies. This professional works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across all channels.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Marketing: develops and implements marketing plans aligned with organisational goals
Content Creation: crafts high-quality, customer-centric written content for email, web, social media, and print
Brand Management: manages website overhauls and ensures branding consistency across all company materials
Communications: drafts, edits, and publishes internal and external materials, including media releases and the annual ESG report
Stakeholder Engagement: supports high-quality engagement with local communities, particularly in regional areas, to build trust and foster relationships
Business Support: assists senior leaders with speechwriting and maintains templates for customer proposals, pitch-decks, and tenders
Safety & Compliance: ensures full compliance with relevant legislation and risk management policies
Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience) from within a Renewable Energy or similar industry (essential)
Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in marketing or communications roles
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Prior experience in the energy sector, specifically renewables (essential)
Understanding of ESG and sustainability principles is considered a significant advantage
