The Marketing Communication Manager will implement and execute the annual hotel Marketing Plan, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives to relevant departments in alignment with the hotel's objectives and Sales & Marketing directives. Responsibilities include driving brand and profile development through advertising, promotions, events, sponsorships, and publicity strategies to maximize revenue generation across rooms, events, and food & beverage.
Job Responsibility:
Implement and execute the annual hotel Marketing Plan
Drive brand and profile development through advertising, promotions, events, sponsorships, and publicity strategies
Develop and execute a year-round media plan
Handle advertising and track Marriott online media impressions
Ensure understanding and adherence to emergency and crisis management policies
Maintain awareness of fire evacuation procedures, health, and safety requirements
Collaborate on the F&B Marketing calendar
Ensure accuracy of hotel information across all communication channels
Uphold brand standards and direction in all materials
Assist in preparing the Annual Marketing Plan and Department Objectives
Collaborate with marketing teams to expand the brand portfolio
Serve as primary communications representative using social media platforms
Assist in the Marriott Brand Standard Audit - Marketing
Deliver positive client communication
Respond to client queries online within 24 hours
Champion innovation for online marketing and channel engagement
Coordinate and control the photo library
Lead hotel photoshoots
Compile award submission documents
Issue online media releases to promote F&B venues, meeting spaces, and guestrooms.
Requirements:
2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major and 3 years experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area
hospitality marketing experience preferred.
Nice to have:
Experience in online and brand marketing
travel industry experience preferred
knowledge of marketing, online marketing required and/or hotel marketing strategies preferred
(preferred experience with online marketing, advertising, and finance/budget planning and management)
