An established Financial Services company is looking for a detail-oriented Marketing & Business Operations Analyst to serve as the operational backbone of their Statement Channel. In this role, you will bridge the gap between Marketing Strategy and Technical Execution. You will ensure that millions of credit card statements (paper and digital) for major partners (e.g., Best Buy, The Home Depot, American Airlines) are produced accurately, compliant with regulations, and populated with dynamic marketing content. This is a cross-functional role requiring collaboration with Tech, Legal, Marketing, and third-party vendors (e.g., Fiserv) to drive efficiency, minimize risk, and deliver a flawless customer experience.
Job Responsibility:
Execute marketing campaigns within the statement channel, ensuring accurate placement of partner branding, messaging, and imagery
Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to code and validate specific statement messages and dynamic customer communications
Manage the end-to-end testing and quality assurance (QA) process for new content to ensure flawless production
Serve as the primary guardian of statement accuracy
research and resolve production issues, data errors, or customer complaints
Ensure all statement activities adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g., Fair Lending) and internal Operational Risk frameworks
Support internal/external audits and compliance monitoring related to statement procedures
Act as the liaison between Citi and print/digital vendors (e.g., Fiserv) to manage SLAs and production timelines
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, reduce costs, and improve production efficiency
Utilize project management tools (Jira) to track milestones for new partner onboarding and system upgrades
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in Business Operations, Marketing Operations, or IT within a complex, matrixed organization
Experience in Financial Services, Credit Cards, or Private Label Banking is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or equivalent work experience
Understanding of credit card data systems
Knowledge of HP Exstream/Dialogue and Jira is a significant plus
Ability to map out complex workflows, identify risks, and prioritize trade-offs
Strong ability to translate business/marketing needs into technical requirements for developers and vendors
Proven track record of managing high-volume, sensitive customer communications with high accuracy
Nice to have:
Knowledge of HP Exstream/Dialogue and Jira is a significant plus
