Unlocked Shoreditch is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Marketing & Bookings Apprentice to join our buzzing team. Job Responsibility:

  • Coordination of the programming of events at Unlocked Shoreditch
  • Managing the venue’s social media and communications, adapting this to trends and internal information
  • Leading on idea generation for events in the curation of diverse events, meeting targets and volume of customers
  • Collating promotional materials from acts and promoters to help maximise each event promotion
  • Managing the social media and marketing plan for Unlocked Shoreditch
  • Creating unique and effective content to use cross-platform
  • Focusing on meeting business targets for sales, platform growth and to be an avid contributor in ways these can be met
  • Reporting with precision and attention to detail, analysing impacts of strategy and sharing with the wider team
  • Devise and execute a detailed social media marketing plan
  • Source, negotiate and secure music acts, promoters, exhibitions, screenings, workshops, public and private events for Unlocked Shoreditch
  • Plan the content calendar and create content, from simple graphics to reels
  • Taking responsibility for all inbound and outbound communications from the official platforms and inbox
  • Collaborate with the design teams for content needs, briefing in a timely manner
  • Lead on the copywriting for Unlocked communications across social media and website
  • Build monthly and yearly reports showing ability to analyse data effectively
  • Work closely with the promotions teams to put together detailed promotional strategies and help implement said strategies for events
  • Proofread contracts, communicate all requirements for each event and ensure that the programme of events are coordinated and deliverable
  • Help Manage the diary and contributing to the event calendar ensuring it is kept up to date with information relating to timings and requirements
  • Adding tickets to all platforms and analysing data to produce regular ticket counts for shows. Identifying shows that are struggling and working with the promotional team to create campaigns to help shows reach targets.
  • Achieving targeted income for Spaces Unlocked ensuring P&Ls are completed for each event, working with the accounts team to ensure businesses/suppliers are paid the correct amount in a timely manner
  • Attend regular team meetings to feedback and discuss newly confirmed bookings and future plans – contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Complete regular market research, ensuring Spaces Unlocked remains attractive to both customers and businesses
  • Ensure outbound sales activity is taking place, contacting new businesses and ensuring their information is on our mailing list
