Job Description

As a Marketing Technology Solutions Consultant, you’ll play a key role in designing and optimizing enterprise-level marketing technology platforms that drive strategic outcomes. You’ll work across functions — Marketing, CRM, Engineering, Data Privacy, and third-party vendors — to deliver impactful solutions with measurable ROI. This role combines deep technical expertise with solution design, governance, and cross-functional leadership.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate business goals into scalable, secure solution designs across Email, Mobile, Journey Builder, and OTT platforms
  • Design technical architectures, roadmaps, and documentation that align with enterprise objectives
  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) implementations, from discovery to optimization
  • Build and maintain integrations between SFMC, Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Clouds), and external systems
  • Leverage tools such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and APIs to deliver personalized customer experiences
  • Ensure consistency of implementation across business units while upholding platform best practices
  • Champion data governance policies to ensure privacy compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.)
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and IT teams to maintain high standards for data security and marketing ethics
  • Monitor campaign performance and technical platform health
  • Identify opportunities for process and performance improvements using data analysis and stakeholder input
  • Troubleshoot issues in production environments and recommend long-term solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by simplifying complex technical concepts
  • Mentor junior consultants and campaign specialists, fostering knowledge sharing and growth
  • Lead cross-functional workshops and contribute to the continuous evolution of our marketing tech stack

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • At least 3 years hands-on in SFMC (architecture, design, implementation)
  • A degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred) — or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced proficiency in SFMC modules (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio)
  • Expertise in Contact Builder, Data Extensions, AMPscript, and API integrations
  • Experience integrating cloud platforms (AWS, Salesforce Data Cloud, etc.) and data pipelines
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Email Specialist certifications (preferred)
  • additional certifications in cloud platforms or CDPs are a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor team members
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, driving decisions in fast-paced environments, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
