Job Description

You will be part of our growing technical CRM team reporting into the Head of Marketing Technology. As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will help to shape and implement impactful, data-driven customer journeys for private customers. Your work will ensure optimizing customer engagement and providing user guidance in the selling and buying process through personalized journeys. This role is highly collaborative, working with Marketing, Product, Tech, Analytics and external partners to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the technical development and execution of B2C CRM processes, delivering fully automated customer workflows
  • Help develop customer segmentation strategies that enhance personalization and engagement across multiple channels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Work closely with internal tech & data teams to extend the connection between our platform and CRM solution
  • Provide data-driven insights and ad hoc analyses to support marketing strategies
  • Act as a trusted technical consultant for the Marketing team, helping them optimize CRM performance

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing automation or technical CRM role
  • Basic understanding of customer retention strategies and experience with automated customer journeys
  • Good collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar marketing automation tools)
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDP), such as Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Solid foundation in relational databases and SQL queries
  • Fluency in German and English
