Job Description

The Marketing Automation Campaign Specialist builds and optimizes B2B digital marketing campaigns within Adobe Marketo, translating marketing strategy into scalable, high-quality programs. This role ensures campaigns are delivered with accuracy, consistency, and alignment to enterprise governance standards. Operating within an evolving marketing technology ecosystem, the specialist contributes to platform enhancements, program scalability, and process improvements. The role partners closely with marketing, analytics, CRM teams, and external agencies to support successful campaign activation and ongoing performance optimization.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and execute Marketo programs and assets including emails, landing pages, forms, smart campaigns, and reports
  • Execute campaign builds based on documented briefs, requirements, and strategic direction from marketing stakeholders
  • Activate and operationalize audience segments sourced from enterprise data platforms within Marketo programs
  • Apply campaign-level filters, targeting logic, and distribution rules as needed to support launch objectives
  • Perform thorough QA testing across emails, landing pages, forms, workflows, and lead routing prior to deployment
  • Support lead lifecycle processing, CRM sync validation, and basic troubleshooting of integration-related issues
  • Partner with marketing analysts to support campaign reporting and provide execution-level performance insights
  • Maintain documentation, naming conventions, templates, and operational standards within Marketo
  • Contribute to ongoing platform enhancements and scalability initiatives post-implementation
  • Support cross-functional marketing automation projects as needed
  • Manage campaign intake, build timelines, and task execution through Workfront to ensure alignment with enterprise processes and SLAs

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of marketing automation experience, preferably in Marketo
  • Hands-on experience building emails, landing pages, forms, and automated campaign workflows
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing processes including lead lifecycle management and CRM integration (Salesforce preferred)
  • Working knowledge of global email compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR)
  • Basic HTML/CSS troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in a complex or regulated enterprise environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated quality assurance discipline
  • Experience operating within structured campaign intake and project management systems (Workfront or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaign builds simultaneously while adhering to defined processes and timelines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Marketo certification is a plus
