This full-time, permanent role is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow their skills in marketing. We’re looking for a Marketing Associate to support in driving transformation within 7-Eleven Canada’s marketing team. This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our integrated marketing processes and marketing campaign planning within the organization – to bring our brand to life in meaningful, memorable ways. You will be right at the center of it all. You will drive marketing strategies & activities across business units and bring creative, digital, communications, loyalty and agency teams together to develop breakthrough marketing campaigns within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Integrated Marketing Manager, this role is ideal for someone that is customer-obsessed, insights-focused, and challenges the status quo to drive real transformation and sales growth. You are a people-connector at heart, detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about bringing structure to a fast-paced, cross-functional marketing environment. You’ll help build foundational processes while playing a critical role in the day-to-day coordination of integrated marketing campaigns and advancing our marketing campaigns to become more strategically driven and customer-focused with the goal of achieving record breaking traffic and sales.
Job Responsibility:
Partner in the development and execution of national marketing campaigns with measurable performance goals
Manage the end-to-end integrated marketing process and project management of marketing campaigns to ensure campaigns are kept on track, aligned to strategic and marketing goals, and ensure brand consistency across content and assets
Develop campaign briefs, timelines, and planning documentation to align cross-functional teams across key initiatives
Lead campaign performance and wrap-ups, and provide recommendations from insights and campaign metrics, and communicate to key stakeholders across the organization
Lead process improvements (ie. campaign calendars, templates, project tracker) for better alignment across Marketing, Communication and Digital teams, and improve processes with product/merchandising teams
Track industry trends and integrated marketing best practices to support the team's continuous improvement and advance marketing technology
Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams on creative, content, media and digital strategies that drive impactful sales and traffic growth and improve customer experience
Support managing marketing budgets to ensure that marketing activities and campaigns are on track to budget and provide recommendations on better allocation of marketing spend by measuring ROI
Requirements:
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Marketing
Up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management or project ownership
Strong analytical, project management, time management, and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Proven ability to put the customer at the center of decision-making, with a curiosity to understand consumer behavior and needs, and leverage competitive and market insights to drive innovative marketing strategies
Detailed-oriented, process-minded, and eager to improve marketing workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate & influence effectively across teams
A team player, with a proactive attitude, positive energy, and a desire to grow and develop capabilities
Nice to have:
Experience in Retail/QSR/CPG is an asset, and experience within a marketing function whether agency or client
Experience in campaign planning and marketing processes across various channels (digital, in-store, social, email, etc.), would be an asset
