We are looking for a Marketing Associate with strong technical writing skills to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers the opportunity to contribute to marketing campaigns, content creation, and event planning. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced in marketing tasks, and proficient in tools like Excel and social media platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the design, execution, and management of marketing campaigns and events under the guidance of senior team members.
Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, V-lookup, and Text-to-Column, to analyze and organize data.
Manage social media scheduling and content creation using Hootsuite and other relevant tools.
Proofread and edit a variety of marketing materials, such as social media posts, blogs, and agency-created content, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Write compelling content for social media platforms, blogs, and articles for the annual newsletter.
Collaborate with the team to update and maintain H-Change letters and other communication materials.
Learn and adapt to custom policy administration software for specific marketing tasks.
Support the team with general administrative duties related to marketing and campaign management.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in a marketing role, with a preference for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced features such as pivot tables, V-lookup, and Text-to-Column.
Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite and the ability to schedule and manage campaigns.
Strong proofreading skills to ensure error-free marketing materials.
Excellent writing abilities for creating engaging content across various platforms, including blogs, social media, and newsletters.
Experience with any policy administration software is a plus, though training will be provided.
A detail-oriented and organized approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
