Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Marketing Assistant to join our team in Livingston, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting marketing initiatives, coordinating events, and engaging with the community. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful programs and enhance your skills in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Organize and oversee event logistics, including registration, setup, materials, supplies, and volunteer coordination
manage and update a shared marketing calendar to ensure team members meet deadlines
provide administrative support for iStrive, a Saturday program for adults on the autism spectrum, including participant management, basic bookkeeping, and communication follow-ups
assist with recruiting efforts for iStrive by reaching out to organizations and families, and potentially leading outreach meetings both onsite and in the community
handle inquiries and schedule appointments for onsite mental health treatment services
design and distribute marketing materials using tools such as Canva and Constant Contact
create and manage surveys using SurveyMonkey to gather feedback and insights
proofread and edit marketing content to ensure accuracy and consistency
support the planning and execution of various marketing activities and campaigns.

Requirements:

Proficiency in marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Canva, and SurveyMonkey
strong organizational skills, with experience in coordinating events and managing schedules
excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing
familiarity with administrative tasks such as participant tracking and basic bookkeeping
ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including families and community organizations
experience in designing and implementing marketing campaigns
capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
