Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Marketing Assistant! Are you passionate about making a difference in the charity sector? Do you have a flair for creativity and a love for marketing? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client, a dedicated charity organisation, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their vibrant team in Islington, London. This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential for extension.

Job Responsibility:

Creating Marketing Materials: Designing marketing materials, including brochures, slides, and invitations using Indesign and Canva
Visual Content Creation: Creating eye-catching visual assets for social media platforms using Canva
Brand Management: Maintaining up-to-date logos and sharing them with partners and colleagues while adhering to brand guidelines
E-Communications: Collaborating with the Digital Coordinator to deliver compelling industry and public-facing e-communications, including sourcing opportunities and drafting content
Media Monitoring: Monitoring the Press inbox and forwarding relevant inquiries to the Head of PR & Marketing and Head of Communications & Public Affairs
Media Coverage Logging: Track media coverage for reporting purposes, contributing to our marketing strategy
Website Updates: Work alongside the Digital Coordinator to keep website content fresh and engaging
Other Duties: Be flexible to assist with any other reasonable tasks as required

Requirements:

Proficient in using InDesign and Canva for design tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
A team player with a positive attitude
