Homes for Students is the UK's leading independent provider of Student Accommodation. We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing & Design team based in Liverpool, working 40 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the marketing team by managing admin tasks, organising workflows, maintaining resources, tracking projects, and enabling smooth collaboration in smaller groups
  • Support sales and marketing by assisting with campaigns
  • Deliver engaging, effective online content, considering USPs and competitors
  • provide creative input for campaigns
  • Use initiative to suggest workable online campaigns and marketing actions that drive property performance
  • Help drive leads and sales through ongoing campaign optimisation
  • Assist the Design Team with clear briefs for graphic design (collateral, social media, signage) and ad hoc tasks across brands
  • Work with third-party agencies to improve solutions and reduce costs
  • Identify and use appropriate marketing tools, services, and agencies
  • Monitor and research social media and competitors to ensure engaging student property content
  • Develop and proactively deliver projects to showcase the brand and assets
  • Maintain commercial awareness and understanding of the marketplace
  • Keep up with trends in student accommodation and competitors
  • enhance website content and suggest improvements
  • Work flexibly and effectively with colleagues
  • Comply with Health and Safety policies

Requirements

  • Must have very strong written English skills for content writing
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Experience with web, social media and email marketing campaigns
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Project Management and delivery
  • Good presentation skills in PowerPoint or other
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
