Our client is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational, writing, editing and proofreading skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibility:
Update and maintain project, employee, and client data in a marketing database
Assist the Marketing Department on a variety of assignments, including editing and writing, gathering company resume information and project experience, assisting with complex forms, and gathering/compiling additional materials necessary for marketing proposals
Update and maintain project write-ups/descriptions to supplement resume experience and update this information in marketing database
Update and maintain project photo library
Assist with graphics for proposals, marketing brochures, etc.
Assist in writing corporate resumes for staff members as well as tailored resumes for specific project pursuits
Assist in gathering information from subconsultants and project teams
Coordinate and prepare proposals, qualifications and subconsultant packages (resumes, project experience, certifications, SF 330 forms, etc.) including project graphics as needed
Assist with a wide range of research tasks for project pursuits on public and private sector marketing efforts
Develop or edit templates for reports, proposals, work orders and other items as needed
Assist project managers and technical staff with conference calls, meetings, and project documentation, and professional licensures
Routinely monitor and track project pursuits and new opportunities
Maintain and monitor business development reports in Ajera accounting and project management software
Assist Marketing Department with trade-show coordination, scheduling, staffing and equipping
Requirements:
Ability in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Detail-oriented team player
Strong organizational, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrently
Nice to have:
Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries
Degree or training in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, Graphics, Construction Industry, or related
Database management experience
Experience in a professional office environment
