Job Description

As the Marketing and Launch Excellence, Senior Manager within Amgen’s Japan Transformation Office, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our marketing capability and launch excellence capability. You will support a Marketing and Launch Excellence Lead (Associate Director) in strengthening our end-to-end commercial excellence capabilities. Working closely with the Lead, you will partner with brand managers, commercial leaders, medical teams, and cross-functional partners to identify priority areas, provide structured support, and help drive consistent excellence across both launch and marketing disciplines.

Requirements

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related fields
  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, launch excellence, marketing consulting, or commercial excellence roles with a strong focus on capability building & driving launch excellence
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record in developing and executing launch strategies
  • Expertise in change management principles and their application within marketing and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and the use of analytics tools to measure program success
  • Strong ability to assess marketing functions, use data-driven insights, and design strategic solutions tailored to the healthcare sector
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse internal audiences
  • Demonstrated success in guiding internal teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving the adoption of new capabilities
