The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is seeking a proactive and creative Multimedia & Communications Specialist to serve as the unified voice of our brand. In this dynamic role, you will go beyond social media; you will be a storyteller for our community. You will collaborate with the Marketing Director to produce high-quality content that spans the entire media spectrum, from digital video to print publications and magazines. Your mission is to craft compelling narratives tailored for our vital audiences: consumers, businesses, and the internal team.
Job Responsibility:
Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging video content for Reels, TikTok, YouTube, and website features
Design on-brand graphics and marketing materials for digital campaigns, newsletters, and brochures
Visit businesses on-site to capture “behind-the-scenes” content, testimonials, and success stories
Execute a local and association content guide across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok
Monitor analytics to refine strategy, respond to community comments, and grow our digital footprint
Design and curate compelling B2B and B2C email newsletters
Act as a representative of the BBB during business visits, networking events, and community gatherings
Draft clear, professional communications for internal team updates and external stakeholder announcements
Work closely with the Marketing Director to align all content with broader BBB goals, campaigns, and consumer education initiatives
Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva Pro
Proficiency in social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Mailchimp) is a plus
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of comfort meeting face-to-face with business owners
A minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalency, is required
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
1-4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, and video and print content production
Valid license, willing to travel within our 5-county service area (30-40%)
