Job Description

Our client is seeking a senior Marketing and Campaign Lead to run marketing delivery across their gaming brands in Africa. This is a highly operational role that turns commercial priorities into live, measurable campaigns across digital, retail and outdoor channels. You will work alongside the in-house Creative Marketing Specialist who owns design and creative output. Your focus will be campaign planning, rollout, media buying, supplier management and performance, ensuring marketing activity lands flawlessly in-market.

Job Responsibility

  • Campaign Planning & Rollout: Own campaign calendars and promotional schedules across online and retail
  • Translate product, trading and commercial priorities into executable campaigns
  • Manage go-live timelines across countries and channels
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery with operations, BI, CRM and retail teams
  • Creative Collaboration (Non-Design Role): Brief the Creative Marketing Specialist and Design department clearly
  • Ensure creative output meets campaign objectives and regulatory standards
  • Manage revisions and approvals — without personally producing artwork
  • Protect brand consistency across channels
  • Media Buying & Outdoor Advertising: Manage relationships with billboard companies, mall media, transit advertising providers and digital networks
  • Negotiate placements, rates and flighting schedules
  • Oversee production, printing and installation
  • Control budgets and delivery timelines
  • Retail Marketing Execution: Drive shop campaigns, activations and branding rollouts alongside country marketing and management teams
  • Coordinate POS distribution and retail compliance
  • Support new shop openings and rebrands from a marketing delivery perspective
  • Performance Tracking: Track acquisition, conversion and retention results
  • Work with BI and CRM teams to analyse ROI

Requirements

  • 6+ years in senior marketing roles
  • Strong preference for regulated gaming / betting / casino experience
  • Hands-on experience with multi-country campaigns, outdoor advertising, and media buying, retail rollout, and agency and supplier management
  • Commercially sharp and execution obsessed
  • Organised, deadline-driven and calm under pressure
  • Confident dealing with suppliers and media owners
  • Comfortable operating in fast-growth African markets
