We are looking for a tech-savvy and data-driven Working Student to join our Marketing & Commercial team. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of Revenue Operations and Marketing within a fast-growing LaaS, SaaS business unit at Zalando. Your primary focus will be on the technical and analytical side of marketing and commercial—from managing website CMS, to analyzing sales funnel metrics and maintaining impeccable data hygiene in our CRM. This role is perfect for a student who is comfortable with numbers, tools, and technology, and wants to understand how a modern B2B revenue engine runs from the inside out. Job Responsibility:
Maintain impeccable data hygiene by updating lead statuses, enriching contact information, and ensuring all interactions are logged accurately
Assist in tracking the progression of leads through the sales funnel, from initial inquiry to qualified opportunity
Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams and their Leadership to ensure the data in Google sheets and CRM is accurate
Support the RevOps Manager in analyzing funnel performance, identifying bottlenecks, and preparing weekly reports on key metrics like lead volume, conversion rates, and qualification speed
Take ownership of our LinkedIn tracking process
Assist our Events Manager in coordinating branded merchandise
Help manage inventory and logistics to ensure our brand presence at major industry events is seamless
Learn the technical side of marketing by assisting with website updates using our CMS (Contentful)
Testing and prompting on Notebook LLM to create an AI knowledge hub for the sales team
Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a student at a university in Germany
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, Google Workspace
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
A proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership of your tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
A genuine interest in a career in marketing, sales, or the LaaS, SaaS technology industry
Nice to have:
Previous experience with a CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot
Currently studying Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
