Job Description

The Market Sales Application Support Senior Analyst provides technical and business support for users of Citi’s Market Sales Applications, providing L1 and L2 support across Markets, Banking and Services. The team manages the day-to-day availability of the Market Sales applications within Global Markets Production Support. Specific focus will be on the newly expanded scope for the unified client relationship management initiative.

Job Responsibility

  • Play a pivotal role in supporting functions across Markets, Banking, and Services globally and as part of a follow the sun support model
  • Provide direct support to Market sales users for their Account Plans, Contacts and relationship management tools
  • Develop and maintain technical support documentation
  • Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner
  • Reviews and develops application contingency planning to ensure availability to users
  • Partners with appropriate development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements
  • Review, approve and Conduct application deployment into production
  • Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items, covering Stability, Efficiency, Capacity and resiliency initiatives

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in an application support role working with global teams
  • Understanding of SQL, Linux/Unix, Batch Scheduling and monitoring software (such as ITRS, graphana, OTEL)
  • Experience with some programming languages, AI tools and willingness/ability to learn
  • Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
  • Issue tracking and Incident reporting using tools
  • Ability to plan and organize workload in a high demanding environment being able to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
