Market Risk Specialist

• Develop, enhance and review/ monitor counterparty risk reports for traded product portfolios
• Assist in day-to-day troubleshooting, including investigating counterparty credit risk system or model issues then provide potential improvement
• Perform ad-hoc analysis (stress testing, scenario and portfolio analysis) to support risk management decision making and/or management inquiries
• Work with various internal trading desks, credit underwriting and risk teams to review transactions structures, remediate issues and develop enhancements
• Assist in the preparation of counterparty credit risk presentations and internal credit documents (policies, procedures, memos) for senior management

2+ years of market risk, Capital Markets, desk analyst, trading, interest rate risk or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field
• Financial Industry/Banking background
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Working knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau or PowerBI
• Ability to independently prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Traded Securities and Derivative Products (types, pricing and risks)
