Wells Fargo is seeking a Market Risk Specialist for the Traded Products Counterparty Credit Capital (TPCCC) group within Market and Counterparty Risk Management. This individual is responsible for producing accurate, timely, clear and complete capital reporting related to Counterparty Credit Risk Weighted Assets (RWA). In this role you will be tasked with validating calculated results, facilitating the line of business capital decision process and producing regulatory and management reports and presentations. In this position, the individual would be responsible for implementing the business process and testing of emerging capital regulations. Within this framework, you will be responsible for coordinating with multiple teams across the enterprise to interpret new capital regulations and plan and oversee the implementation of all regulatory counterparty credit capital changes.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant business, regulatory and risk requirements pertaining to Counterparty RWA as well as maintaining an awareness of current regulatory trends, proposals and resulting impacts
Analyze RWA results including trends, variance analysis and exposure attribution
Populate and submit regulatory counterparty credit capital schedules
Develop SQL statements to test data accuracy and completeness
Ability to work with emerging technology tools such as AI
Partner with Technology group on technical issues and assist in the development of strategic reporting solutions
Interact effectively and confidently with senior management and business partners
Prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Requirements:
2+ years of market risk, Capital Markets, desk analyst, trading, interest rate risk or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
SQL experience
A master’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation
Financial Risk Management Certificate (FRM)
Work experience in Middle-Office or Product Control type function
Familiarity with non-cleared, exchange traded and cleared products
Knowledge and experience with CVA calculations
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of a variety of asset classes and trading products
specifically, derivatives and securities financing transactions
