We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Market Research Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the senior leader overseeing our product and monetization strategy, this role is critical in driving the strategic direction of our product pricing by translating complex market dynamics and customer sentiment into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a background in technology or developer experiences. This position involves designing and executing pricing surveys, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and collaborating closely with the Product Delivery Organization to ensure our pricing strategy aligns with business goals and market value.
Job Responsibility:
Design, implement, and manage detailed product & pricing studies as well as customer & targeted user surveys
Extract value drivers and identify what targeted users truly care about based on their profiles and use cases
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies (e.g., Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger, conjoint analysis)
Synthesize research findings into clear, compelling, and data-backed recommendations for the Product and Leadership teams
Act as the primary subject matter expert on customer and developer willingness-to-pay dynamics
Partner with Product Managers to test new pricing models and tiers, particularly for products targeting a technical audience or developers
Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex analytical results into business implications
Conduct competitive pricing analysis, monitoring competitor moves and market trends in the tech and developer tools space
Maintain a deep understanding of our target customer personas, specifically how developers evaluate and purchase technical products
Requirements:
Proven analytical and quantitative skills, including expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
Strong business acumen with the ability to link research findings directly to strategic and financial outcomes
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders
Proficiency in survey design software and statistical packages (e.g., Qualtrics, R, Python)
Relevant university degree and course transcript in Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related quantitative field
Minimum 4 years of experience in market research, pricing strategy, or business intelligence, preferably within the technology sector
Demonstrated experience in creating and running sophisticated pricing and customer satisfaction surveys
Nice to have:
Prior experience in a B2B SaaS environment, particularly with products aimed at developers, engineers, or technical users
Familiarity with the developer experience (DevEx) and the factors that drive developer adoption and monetization
Technology enthusiast with strong interest and curiosity in the Agentic AI mechanisms and trends
