Job Description:

The Market Manager Trainee position at Circle K involves maximizing store sales, managing costs, collaborating with marketing and vendors, ensuring compliance, and providing leadership to store managers. Job Responsibility:

Maximizes store sales through excellent customer service, product availability, and merchandising
Provides information to store management
Manages controllable costs
Collaborates with Marketing team
Partners with vendors
Ensures store operations are profitable
Ensures compliance with requirements
Protects employees, customers and company assets
Achieves financial objectives
Provides leadership and direction to store managers
Adheres to the Company Operating Policy of Legal, Ethical, and Moral practices
Enhances professional and technical knowledge
Contributes to team effort

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Three to five years of retail business experience or more preferred
Minimum of two years of management responsibility
Demonstrated leadership ability
Good communication skills
Self-directed and self-motivated
Customer service oriented
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
Ability to supervise and train Store Managers
Expertise with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred
Current valid driver's license required
