We are building capabilities that allow us to recruit and retain hosts at a global scale. The Difference You Will Make: As Market Manager based in Seoul, you will be responsible for the growth and scaled acquisition of high-quality hosts and homes. You will develop and manage a range of integrated supply growth campaigns and initiatives to ignite our lead generation efforts across Korea. Focusing on these responsibilities, you will build upon Airbnb's strong brand and increase hosting awareness and consideration and accelerate leads through the acquisition pipeline, collaborating with cross-functional and global teams. As someone who knows the Airbnb mission and values inside out, you will drive all phases of supply acquisition including: acquisition strategy development, generating and converting supply leads and strategic partners relationship management and building new growth levers from scratch. You will help develop and iterate scalable localised supply growth strategies for both developed and highly competed market destinations and nascent and relatively untapped new markets ultimately ensuring our long-term market success.

Job Responsibility

  • Prospect and onboard new high-quality supply via direct sales in your assigned geography
  • Build and manage a program of new host growth projects, partners and campaigns to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Analyse data and utilise data-driven recommendations to identify and action on strategic opportunities to organic supply growth within the core and small host segments
  • Prospect and onboard strategic supply and lead generation partners to deliver high quality hosting leads
  • Represent Airbnb in external meetings with partners and industry conferences across the region
  • Explore partnership opportunities with external partners to build win win solutions to grow Airbnb host base
  • Educate host prospects on the benefits of hosting ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to get started
  • Coordinate with internal teams on product, policy, marketing and other internal stakeholders to tune our acquisition engine
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the host prospect journey, key segments and be the go-to source for all information relating to campaigns, local policies and market dynamics
  • Deliver scaled events and campaigns that will see you work on highly visible, integrated and logistically complex acquisition events delivered in our priority markets
  • Respond to and deliver exceptional service to your professional hosts in a timely and efficient manner, occasionally traveling to your market to provide in-person support and guidance
  • Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, legal and customer support teams to ensure our long-term market success

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, sales, business development and program management
  • 2+ years of experience in technology, travel, and marketplace sectors or operating in a high-growth scale-up business
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Proven track record of being able to effectively work a leads pipeline and/or a book of business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Highly analytical and ability to transform and interpret data into actionable insights to build and implement growth strategies
  • The ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects and deadlines
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy - being an Airbnb host is a plus
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, with a proven track record to execute in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Highly proficient in using CRM software, specifically in working with leads, opportunities and other core objects - Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Charismatic self-starter who is resourceful and self-sufficient
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of time (domestic travel)
  • Fluency in Korean and English
